Not to mention any names (if the people want to step forward, please do!), but some people are thinking about making an AD&D computer game.

post anything that you can dream of regarding the Official
1E computer game !!
I'll start with a thought:
why reinvent the wheel ?
DC (Dungeon Craft) and/or Unlimited Adventures both seem to be a solid base to work from.
Really, I think what is needed is a 'code library', with someone laying down the basics, a 'common language' if you will, with the data (new monsters, spells, items, deities) being added in over the years.
The NWN community seem to have done some great work ...
Myself, I continue with the work of doing the .html AD&D 'SRD' ..
hopefully that will be of use to those who actually know how to write working code !
