I own the core rulebook, only after getting the After the Bomb supplement for Gamma World-y reasons, but I never played them.

Apparently in the 1st printing their is a controversial table of some sort. Maybe has to do with homosexuality?
They expunged it from later eds as I understand it

They expunged it from later eds as I understand it Palladium Books used an outdated list of mental disorders form Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. By the time of TMNT's publication, homosexuality was no longer classified as a mental disorder and to classify them as such would have been inappropriate. Besides the out-of-date information, the subject of characters becoming gay or a pedo through mental illness was also not an appropriate thing for a RPG, especially since the franchise was quickly becoming popular with children. TNMTII and III sucked tortoise dick! The first movie was awesome! It, like the RPG, stayed more-or-less true to the original comics.

By the way, I'm working on a TMNT-MF chargen conversion system on the Mutant Future Wiki, if anyone is at all interested. Right now, it still needs a lot of work — still need more entries; entries need to adjusted to make it work better for MF; the whole system needs to be more streamlined (but that is Palladium for you). One hugely useful step is reducing BIO-E (biological energy) points 1/5th of the normal values: there was never any reason to make them in increments of 5s, as nothing cost less than 5, and it made the game needlessly complicated! Only you, Palladium...
