Was travelling around Welsh Wales for a couple of days. Lots of castles 'n stuff. Speaking with Prespos in DF chat he recommended I should read the Mabinogion. Went through this archway into a castle built in 1070 and found a book shop

Thanks Chris, amazing image. The one who recommended THE MABINOGION to me was jamesmward (James M. Ward), via DEITIES & DEMIGODS. This was many years before I had the pleasure of chatting with him on an on-and-off basis in the Dragonsfoot Lounge. How does THE MABINOGION relate to AD&D? Well, to start: * King Arthur * Arawn * ?? I would be interested to hear in other direct links between THE MABINOGION and AD&D. Here is an overview of THE MABINOGION: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MabinogionHere is the copy that I have: This one is a Penguin paperback, likely available for a few bucks, less than the cost of a pint. I highly recommend THE MABINOGION, in any of it's various forms, to anyone who is into (A)D&D. Prespos
