I am in Toronto! It is a great and bootiful multi-cultural city, and, in theory, perhaps the best place to write aboot the Aerth setting. (As an aside, I've heard that Gary was quite impressed with the underground network below TOronto, the PATH system). Nearest Subway station is Don Mills... I am east of there, literally right on the border of Scarborough. (Scarberia: Mastodons and frost giants are a common sight in the winter). When I was growing up as a long-haired metallhead, Ed Greenwood worked at a library aboot a 10 minute walk from Victoria Park High. (I worked with his bro, Mike, too). I am just a bit North of what I call The Crossroads, Victoria Park and Sheppard. Close to Johnny's Hamburgers. If you've ever watched the Wayne's World movies, it is well-known that Mike Myers was into D&D. (His favorite restaurant is Johnny's, I have heard). The main gaming scene is downtown. There are still some AD&D groups going on, despite the amazing popularity of 5e and PF. I'd highly recommend looking up Ulan Dhor, over at Dragonsfoot, if you want some good reading. Anyway, this was the actual Physical Graffiti, aboot 100 meters to the south-east of where Ed worked, early 1990s:
