What are the moments that you remember as a player?

A 2nd edition game I played on a visit back to Vancouver. I was a Wild Mage who made excessive use of Nahal's reckless dweomer (if you're not familiar with this spell, just think of a wand of wonder with an extended table of effects). Well, one of the results on the table was opening a gate to another plane. We were joking that it was going to be the Abyss, and Lolth was going to step through that gate. So, we randomly generated a plane off of a table somewhere. The Abyss. Lolth steps through the gate. Keep in mind that we were all 1st level characters. The paladin instantly charges Lolth, and dies. My mage managed to sweet-talk his way out of it. It was a great session, though I've now lost the character. I have other good memories, and I may post them later on as the thread progresses. The room in Undermountain with the dozen or so helmed horrors on the first level - and everyone making a dash for the throne that teleports you out once someone figured vanished on sitting on it (they were hoping being on the throne would control the horrors - we were getting sliced and diced something horrible) - and ending up somewhere random remotely removed from Waterdeep entirely.
I hate teleports....
