Shell shock! Roll 2d6 and that's how far out your enemy is immobilized. 66% of the time, it works every time.
In Warhammer Fantasy, Squats squat you.
Sneaky Gits. I field 'em 28 strong, full command. Theoretically.

I keep looking at the army, wondering how much power-game value I've gleaned from such a confederation of troops. 4 regiments isn't a terribly large army for 2000 points, but it seems like there's little alternative, keeping in mind of course that the Chaos Dwarfs are an actual full unit. Initially I had a second Hobgoblin hero, and the one that's present has tactical value. Ah well. Might work regardless.

I'm aslight upon the notion of finishing the army, but I've a keen to the completion of the Hobgoblin mounted rider, no longer will he, The Last Scotsman ride The Dread Cordoner, but rather, a full fledged Enchanted Item-slot Daemon Steed! What a thing to do! I'll probably cut like 6 goblins from the army to make the points difference up. Then, I'll use my Death Rocket.

That's the model I want for my General. My General, focus of all decently-minded and properly Edition'd games of Warhammer, is conservatively built*.
Alas, I've opted to not include the Bull Centaurs in my list at present, yearning instead for more artillerlery. Those hackled up and monitoring my speech-patterns for triggers to their own pavlovian O. Rex screeching might note that's an intentional typo.
Beyond such predilections, I can see the joy of fielding the full artillery battery. That's right.
*Unlike bud there's monstrosity standard-Dwarf complement, including some pig dink that can throw up walls of fire and negates 3 attacks in base-contact. We just completed the assembly of said Dwarf list.

Of course, as Chaos Dwarfs are an as-yet-unplayed option to the joy of the game, I doubtless can appreciate some quality music aesthetically topical to the purview.
Also, Ralph Bakshi shall have his cover art of Wizards character represented in my list with a Hobgoblin hero.

It's like a watch or something, man!
I'm pondering as to the red hats and emerald arms for my Chaos Dwarf Warriors. Might be nice, but they'll be grizzled. That much I know for sure.

I feel a trifle of subcultural guilt for the notion of those yelling "beardy!" at the thought of utilizing these dudes for Mighty Empires. I'm considering which particular general to employ, for main army. On Monster, off Monster. So much fun and suchlike in the world of Warhammer! Perhaps an Allied Contingent to be gamed from within at the flank. There's a bit of dimensional multiplicity to making the 500 point allotment. I don't know what would fit, maybe a Prince and a solitary Steed of Slaanesh rider upgraded to Champion. Any suggestions, uh Chris? Anyone? Hello? We're waiting

AS Warhammer is a game of math wherein people unaware of such fact roar "beardy!" at you, I've opted for three potential builds for my general. Hagard, his wind in the hair: atop lammasu, +2 str gauntlets, +3 toughness sword, 3+ ward, carrying brace of pistols and 2hander. Hagard the dismounted: additional handweapon, brace of pistols, +3 str/d3 wounds sword vs toughness 5+ foes, 3+ ward, reroll item Hagard the bedridden: As the dismounted but with a 2hander, the black amulet maybe instead of the 3 up, and the reroll item. HA, enchanted shield. The "wind in the hair" build costs 605, the dismounted costs 289, the bedridden a pitiful 234. I'm inclined towards the lammasu build, as it's fucking marvelous on all accounts. the monster grants 4+ immunity vs spells and makes magic weapons -1 to hit versus the unit. OTOH....I sure don't mind those extra approximate 300 points. Or 370 if I go with the cheap-o one. Depends which contingent of it I employ, I guess.

Unit Name ## Mv WS BS St To Wo In At Ld Sv Cost Zhatan the Black1 3 8 6 4 5 4 6 4 10 5/4 622.0 Affected by hatred; Heavy Armor; Great Taurus; Fly; Cause Terror; Breathe fire using breath template & all models under suffer S3 hit on 4+ Dark Mace of Death One use only; All models touching (including friends) suffer D3 wounds; No armor saves [50.0] Chaos Rune Shield +1Sv; Magic weapons in BtB do not work [50.0] Horn of Urgok 3 use bound spell, all enemies in 24" range in combat take panic tests, all fleeing ally rally. [75.0] Black Amulet 4+ Special Save; In HtH, every saved wound is reflected back upon attacker; For each rebound, roll a 1 on D6 and power is exhausted [50.0] Great Taurus 1 6 6 - 6 6 5 7 4 8 4 [0.0] Fly; Cause Terror; Breathe fire using breath template & all models under suffer S3 hit on 4+ Total Army Cost: 622.0 Pts.
One can always customize this fucker! Hatred rules the game, just like everything else in life! Look at that. Edit: and with the much superior Lammasu, he only adds up to 597 points!

My list as of now looks like this
1 Hagard the Dismounted-see above 28 Sneaky Gits std mus 14 c. dwarfs + champ, std mus. champ with bound spell Pipes of Doom. Banner of Sorcery Death Rocket, 3 crew 5 Bull Centaurs with Storm Banner 1 level 2 wizard riding monstrous spider with Chalice of Darkness & Chaos Familiar.
Allies 22 Ungors with full command, champion riding Daemon Steed 1 Beastman hero with bound spell Ring of Darkness, Chaos Runeshield, Chaos Armor, flail lol
the allies are for adjacent players to chip in with. Ring of Darkness, roll a 6 to hit wearer if activated with non-magic weapon, Runeshield negates magic weapons in base contact.
73 duders. Seems like a good honest well-rounded sorta thing. For now. Mwahaha.
I've opted to go with the bequeathed names "Sectaur, Guardian of Y" for the sorceror champion.

This is an angry non-sequitor. I fell and bashed my head. Now I am renewed in Warhammering-fervor. There is an exquisite Chaos Dwarf upon my reckoning table. The Master of Madness. Not Pulper Spikehead. That's me. My head-mount has a miniature of myself on it, in turn another atop.

And yes, Oldhammer rote-folk only know fifth is bad, through rendering their minds brittle with the brittle 6th edition rules-set. Try your hand at Herohammer, where there is always room to throw lists.

As per titular issue, my Earthshakers impel Freudian berserks. Master of Madness is adorned in BGoG & HoME, as bequeaths enraging-prowess (or the opposite thereof) within the knavery of my foes. Netlisting's for Empire, this picture shall soon return along with the other Rembrandts to my gaming room's wall.

90s Metal is Apex metal. Soon shall my mighty Chaos Dwarfs foray against the poltroons of the Vampire Counts. I hear tell that their General has an item named "Talon of Death" that auto-kills everything in contact at the start of every HtH phase. In College, they called me Il Tigre, Pour Femme. My foeman, mantled "Shank" after some fashion of reasoning, shall be worthy quarry. I've yet an "oppressive torpor" raging on through the tragic knock-out wherein I garnered insight into the travestic mind.

Post 3333 shall bump the Count to 419. Ah ah ah!
In the dark I like to read his mind, but I'm frightened of the things I might find.
I'll do some randy spreads of my army soon enough. Randy spreads.
