OK, the one with the big-eyed dog and the giant ogre were done by Henry Justice Ford. The one with the cleric healing the wounded woman was done by Joyce Maureira (I first seen it in Crimson Blades RPG). Here is another I would like to propose: Gustave Doré. He did art for The Raven, Paradise Lost, Divine Comedy, Don Quixote, et al.

Yeah, Gustave Doré is pretty awesome.
His art was used a lot for 1E articles in Dragon magazine, and I think that some of his art was used in some Judges Guild publications as well.
