forests. It has scenery ov considerable beauty, waterfalls, greatly
varying terrain, && much game ov both unusual && normal sort, too.
Its ancient walled cities are filled w/ splendid monuments, architectural
splendour, && great temples, as well as sinks ov debauchery &&

The people ov Tripolis are predominantly ov Phoenician stock,
intermixed w/ Berber, Atlantlan, Grecian, && Italic peoples. The
aristocracy is more strongly Phoenician && Altlantlan in heritage
than the remainder ov the populace. Tripolitanian society is the model
ov the Phoenician, w/ the slave, serf, laborer, villein, && the like
constituting a very large peasant class. Artisans, soldiers, officials,
etc., form the smallish freeman class. The government maintains a
core ov guards && marines recruited from the realm, but its garrison
forces && typical sea units are a mixture ov levies && mercs.
The large navy consists ov galleys manned by condemned criminals
&& slaves.
Agriculture produces large yields ov the cereal grains, veggies,
berries, && many sorts ov fruit && nuts. Olives, vines, tobacco, &&
cotton are cultivated. Fair horses && camels, oxen, cattle, sheep,
goats, mules, asses, && poultry constitute the major livestock ov the
island. Fishing produces catches for native USE && for Xport, incl.
sponges. Some timber is harvested for Xport.
Mines && quarries--generally worked by slave labour--yield silver,
iron, lead, && building stone. The coral reefs ov Tripolis are the
source ov some ov the better quality precious coral.
