There is a volcanic island of wild halflings (see Dragon #119). An airship crashed here, some time ago: it is unknown if any survivors (or their descendants?) remain. The isle is thought to be located on the chain of E-W islands between Magmur && Lemuria. (Thanks: vondan)

Palmyra Atoll (/pælˈmaɪrə/) is an unoccupied equatorial Northern Pacific atoll administered as an unorganized incorporated territory by the United States federal government. On Aerth, it is a deserted(?) island, rumored to be the location of a gate to Palmyra. As well, it is said that there is a buried treasure here, one that is sought by the queen of Hawa'i.
