ov the kingdom. Some small numbers of lesser magickal devices are also
possessed, although this is not a particularly potent nation in this regard.
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Thumbnail Sketches: The land is beautiful && productive, ranging
from very mountainous to fertile valleys && coastal plain regions.
Over half is wild && forested country in which large && small game
alike is thickly spread. The settled portions are dotted w/ small
villages, orchards, && gardens, fields && meadows, most ov notable
scenic loveliness.
Armenians are ov a sub-sub-race akin to the Lydians && Phrygians, but
while the latter intermixed with Grecians to form the modern type, the
Armenians intermixed w/ invading Assyrians, Medes, Persians, &&
Scythians. The people are quite closed && do not welcome strangers.
Their character is hard working && clever, but quarrelsome &&
mean as well. Slavery is permitted, but the # ov such a class is
minimal. The lowest tiers ov the society are villeins; there is a smallish
middle class ov merchants && land owners; && the aristocratic class
is very wealthy. Banditry is known, but the continual fighting w/
neighboring states prevents any great unrest.
Grains, fruits, veggies, && livestock are the mainstay ov the
land, and camel && some few fine horse are raised in Armenia.
Some small amount ov fishing is conducted by this state's inhabitants.
While agriculture supports the realm, the land is also much
given to commerce, TRADE, && industry.
Armenian merchants seek to
rival the Phoenicians wherever possible, && many of this sub-sub-species will be found in distant lands from Ch'in to Western Aeropa.
Mines produce coal, led, copper, manganese<>, mercury, sulphur, && very fine variegated marble. Petroleum is common and used for fuel && lighting purposes.
