An expedition, mounted from Grandmark, is said to have discovered a tribe, or, in some tales, a kingdom of sasquatches. The sasquatches are really the remnants of a lost tribe of time-travelling Jews from Phillistia. To this day, they scare the local human tribes into giving them smoked salmon && giant goat cream cheese. Note that only one member of the Grandmark expedition returned, raving, disheveled, and, quite mad. There is no proof of his story, but it is an entertaining one, nonetheless. (Thanks: vondan)

The Teclans have come into contact with an expeditionary force from Grandmark. Their fate is unknown: only a single survivor returned to tell the tale, though he died soon after from battle-wounds. However, he did carry a map, one that might provide a clue to the location of the lost expedition. (cf. The Aquiliad (1983), by Somtow Sucharitkul.)

Grandmark has been visited by a UFO, which was driven off by the stout defenders of the realm, but, not before abducting several Grandmarkian Legionnaires. It was a cigar-shaped UFO, and, was attracted by a gay orgy in a forest clearing that the Legionnaires were enjoying. Though they were caught with their pants down, the Gay Legion still managed to drive off the UFO, albeit at the loss of several of the Grandmarkian Legionnaires. (Thanks: vondan)

New Orc, an orc village established by sea-faring orcs, led by a god-king fachan. Many half-orcs, of all kinds, are found in the village. subaltari: the god-king is a strange breed of orc-ogre with three heads and one arm and one leg subaltari: adored by his/her people So, basically, he/she's a 3-headed hermaphrodite fachan half orc / half ogre quasi-deity. Pretty normal, for Aerth.

The museum houses strange artifacts such as picked human skin, slice of a human face, fetuses, skeletal specimens, tumors and cysts, section of an intestine, bedbugs extracted from a human, plaster death cast of conjoined twins and a book bound in human skin by a physician in the 1880s." HELLAM TOWNSHIP, PENNSYLVANIA, US"This quaint town is often called a modern-day hell gate, thanks to various urban legends dating back to the 19th Century. According to one of the myths, an asylum in the outskirts of the town was burnt down in the 19th century; the ruined site is referred to locally as the doorway to hell. Another legend says that an eccentric Hellam doctor constructed seven gates around his property. Only the first gate can be seen during the daylight and the rest appear at night. It’s believed that those who pass through all these gates will be transported to the underworld." (Source: The deadliest places on earth)

Found throughout Aerth, ghosts are also found in certain of the older buildings of Tremayne, the capital of Grandmark.
