Burgundy is home to pig-faced cannibalistic orcs, in the Vosgas Mountains (low mountains). Charlemagne fights a perpetual war against them. In the Juras Mountains (low mountains), there are Norse dwarves there: known to be able to craft magick items of great power. They have officially allied with Charlemagne, in the war against the pig-faced orcs. Prespos Ps. All orcs are pig-faced.

Bulettes, the creation of a mad wizard, are found in Burgundy, where they present a constant danger to farmers. A particularly nasty one, which wears a burberry scarf, is known to plague Turnery, the turnip-growing provence of Burgundy, known for it's turnip wines. It has been even known to break into cellars, where the great kasks of turnip wine are kept. The scarf is actually a turban of protection +5, placed on the bulette by a malicious wizard with the help of a charm monster spell. (Thanks: atherton, kingofthefreepass)

Hippogriffs are domesticated in Burgundy, and are ridden by Charlamagne's Paladins, and others of the knightly class of Burgundy.
