Nobody really knows the truth. The reality of Nesrim the Dark is undisputed. He was often seen in places, far and wide, where magic and tales of immortality were found. many are the tales of what he looks like but most are of a small man of penetrating sight, eyes that pierce the soul. That is the common thought, his evil eyes. He was in the south!, No the west! Tales go back farther than the memory of the oldest of village elders. Then one day, still long ago, that he had found what he was looking for.
Around the time of the Dark one's disappearance, tales of The Shadow of Broken Bones surfaced, a hidden nightmare to frighten small children. A Thing that eats souls. Fortune tellers say they are one and the same. But then they say a lot of things..........

The Last tale of Nesrim The Dark (about 60 years ago)
In the coast city of Corflu, it is said Nesrim came. He was in the main bazaar, looking at the exotic wares of a scroll seller. A shout of glee came forth from him , with a dark, dark glint to his eyes. Seconds later 60 or 70 of the beings nearest him were mere husks, as if thier life esscence had been sucked put of them , yet they still lived! These horrors were put out of thier misery but there was never again the sight of Nesrim The Dark. It is said that a small boy recalled Nesrim leaving, casting a shadow that looked like a pile of broken bones.
