Here are a set of fan-made WH army books form the Warhammer Armies Project. You can find more here. Mind you, this is set to more current rules sets (as in, WHFB from the past decade or so). There are a number of armies that have been published by GW in the past, ether in one of the core rulebooks or given their own army books, but have been generally overlooked in recent editions. Notable ones are Amazons, the Fimir and the Nauticans (sea elves). A number of them are based on real-life cultures — altered akin to Frank Miller's view of Greek and Persian cultures in 300 — like Albion (Celt), Araby (Arabia), Bretonnia (England), Cathay (China), Estalia (Spain), Kingdoms of Ind (India), Kislev (Russia), Nippon (Japan), Norse (Scandinavia) and the Pirates of Sartosa (caribbean pirates). But be forewarned: They may not be fully play-tested. Oh and a warning to all the prudes: There be boobies (in the artwork).

Rockin', Malcadon. It always baffled me that several of those armies were never official, and yet Ogre Kingdoms. Kislev by Tuomas PirinenLooking over it, it seems mostly decent. I assume the Huns are including their frenzy in their profile, though. I do see some errors to the list...mostly in the characteristics. I also see a lot of what I want from a frickin' humans list, like scouts and elite heavy infantry.

Personally, I would rather see human-based Army Books more akin to the Amazons, then being cheap carbon copies of real-world cultures, populated with one-note stereotypes. That is, a culture would have some semblance real-world culture (or two), but would be altered and flavored in a way were it would appear as its own unique thing.

Given a further glance at the Kislev list, it is certainly an askew glance. Be very fair if you were to use such a thing.
