I'll start. This mufuxen is a Beastman champion called Clears Profits, riding his Daemon Steed magic item. He is supposed to have a spear but there's sometimes you gotta stop short of WYSIWYG

Here's a guy I made as an Empire General, equipped with three items, in addition to standard equipment. As you can see, he's kicking ass with a flail, and reaching for his lance while he's at it. His items are the Parrying Blade (one foeman loses 1 attack), Whip of Agony (precombat attack to make foe and mount pass LD test to attack) and Crimson Armor of Dargan, which makes his foes have to pass a further LD test to attack him. His Parrying Blade is at his side, perfect for dispatching nasty wraiths. His funky 70s 'do is all that is finished painting-wise. Real men of the Playboy generation wear headbands, as they reach for their lance. He's not photogenic, but that's where the differences between him and Burt Reynolds end. This one's blurry, but it's the only shot I have at-hand where you can make out what he's doing with his right arm.

Oh, I forgot. First guy's a Gorthor head strapped to a Catachan body atop Slaaneshi monster-legs riding a bog-standard mount of such as he's equipped with. The second guy I think has an Empire Knights box set head, probably Bretonnian legs, I don't know from whence came the blade, and a converted left arm made from Marauder, Knight and Flagellant bits. His torso is green stuff. A bro made the snazzy horse.

I know the paint-jobs are sub-optimal but here's more Empire schmucks. Like much in the way of bananas, the left-most guy is just there for scale. IE he's just a bog-standard guy. Got him from a friend who who sold me the entirety of his Empire army. He's bedecked in nothing particular, he's just the Elector Count of whatever state black and red is. The tiny manticore is a counts-as Pegasus. In 6th edition, I think I gave him a double-hander, and a variety of things to make him a suitable barbarian riding a micro-manticore. His career was vast and glorious. In 5th, I think he'll have an extra-attacks sword, brace of pistols as per any given character in an Empire army , and a suit of the finest Meteoric Iron. The guy in white is mostly green stuff. I made him, along with about 9 other dudes, as a unit of DOW cavalry in a pinch. I was always particularly fond of this one, though, so he'll perform the function of hero in my armies. Don't know what kit is suitable for him. Despite the numerous flaws, I really like the paint scheme. Reminds me of the goombas in a SSOC book, he does. I like what I pulled off with green stuff on the trailings of his tabard. The unnamed General model I prior detailed, it occurs to me, is ideally suited as some nigh-unkillable right-most-in-the-front-rank sorta placement. Empire armies. Everyone said they suck, but everyone just suck. Really gotta repaint these dudes.

I opted to outfit the SSOC lookin' guy in Shadow Armor-50 points, 5+ save, lets him ignore terrain and non-magic weapons hit at -1S. 8) Gave him a +1 WS weapon for good measure. Should butcher chaff and charge 16 inches out while he's at it. Just an aside...

This here fella is equipped with Lance, two pistols, heavy armor and an unbarded warhorse. His magic items are Amulet of Fire-a nice 25 pointer that gives him or his unit a dispel of 4+, and the Enchanted Shield. Built them both into the model, of course. The 4-horned Ram helmet is sweet. The model entire an update of an old DOW custom heavy cavalryman I made out of a pistolier before 7th took all the fun options out. The guy moves full speed-so his job is to shore up units that need support, from his trusty Amulet of Fire and lance. I'm liking the mobility of my characters, should give them Khorne dweebs some hard times chasing them around. How else? Those bastards can receive a charge from full ranked knights and just cut them down. Good thing there's always a battery to support The Empire!

Bewbogre with her magical frying pan 'obbit squasher'. She started life as a GW plastic Ogre from the boxed set.

Nordland Empire Wizard with Warrior Familiar and Book of Ashur (Ice Magic). His head is flagellant, his arms are a mix of state troop and high elf dragon rider, and his familiar is a 1/72nd scale Zulu. In the midst of painting these fellas.

This here's an Orc Hero I made for a bud. He's a fan of dual-wielding and minions, so that's what he gets.

I made all these dudes other than the Chimera guy and the downward pointed lance guy via kitbashing and greenstuff. My favourites are the Chaos Dwarf and the guy in white with the axe. They're all characters in my armies.

FYI though the downward lance Bretonnian General is fucking horrifying. He killed a toughness 10 Dwarf General by inflicting 7 instant death wounds on him. He can wipe out a 30 man tarpit in like 2 turns. His name is Warduke Polybius.
Being a reclaimant to the honorfactor of "Herohammer", however, I must also point out in editing this post that the Steed of Slaanesh guy would still snap anything in the game over his dick.
I believe the skinny Chaos Lord on Lady Lucrezia's Horse, known as The Last Electronic Repairman is also an exponent of Fairhammer.
