I was looking for Harpies and peasant-types at Black Tree Design, and I was also appreciating the Night Goblin-esques they have there. Check 'em out! eoeorbis.com/search?page=2&q=nightling&type=productI love BTD, they have the cheapest lead I can find, and they're awesome figures. The townsfolk models I found were good, too. Just need enough to populate a village. For scenarios and the like.

Here's chum's orcish host. You can see lots of time and energy I've put into the lending of this army, as well as the paint jobs. He was overwhelmed last time by the sheer amount of O&G on the field, so I cut back. Note that the orcs hold the customary Banner of Defiance. I'm looking for element-critiquing of this here choice of units, mindful of bud's limitations unto artillery-guessing and unit management.

Due to growing up watching Married with Children, to this vary day, when I hear "Big'Ums" I think of Al Buddy's nudie-mag. Although, I can totally see nudie-mags of Orcs.

Al Bundy and all that aside, I've just completed flocking etc the Nordlander halberdiers I'm so excited for. I'm particularly fond of these two detachments of archers I gave them. The bald guy is actually a Norscan.

These bold mufuxen shall crush all 'neath their flavourful Fear Banner by name of Dread, and the champion has a random magic weapon for boppin' ethereal troops. Yet I may paint eyes and affix pinions about them.

Here's my Empire in yet another iteration. To the right of the volley gun is the level 2 ice mage with Book of Ashur (so level 3), with his Warrior Familiar, Alfric the Norscan atop a makeshift Pegasus (I prefer it that way), Sir Gwahlur of Teeth-who wears Shadow Armour and carries the Ring of Darkness, and Baron Solipsis-wielding the Whip of Agony, Parrying Blade and garbed in the Crimson Armour of Dargan beneath his tunic. All the units other than the ranged and spearmen are carrying Champions.

Been far-aquestin' to make a varied cornucopia of personable goblin troops. As I've a whole unit of Iron Claws, they's first in the concerns. I've been wary unto fugue at the prospect of the fabled Berserker Sword having the "may not lead units" clause, cuz I wanted them to Ralph Bakshi their asses into all manner of trouble.
So them's got the Berserker Sword and an offer of fisticuffs to the rules dispute, as they're equipped with Halberds, Light Armour, Shields, 20 strong.
I have an oddly painted 5 man beret-group of forest goblins with shortbows, lead by a level 1 shaman on a monstrous spider and bearing the Staff of LIGHTNING!
There's the obligatory Spider Banner spearmen (I've yet to acquire) and the Bad Moon Banner great weapon motherfuckers, but them fuckin' goblins man. They have heart beyond reasoning.
Giving them a spoken-of-which goblin wolfrider hero to accompany the built-for-discipline general, this heroic bodyguard is going to be equipped with, get this, the Black Gem of Gnar AND the Dark Mace of Death. FUCK YEAH. That's a unit-evaporator if ever there was one in the first place. Fuckin' power.
Goblins man.
I went through a phase where people kept insinuating a certain fallacy to the no-premeasuring system of viable-hammer. I retorted by making everything have ranged elements. It seemed futile.
Maybe my common goblins will have some form of shooty-banner to bring along, but that's not entirely to taste. Good thing I'm not trapped in blander subsequents.
Beyond goblins, upon the dread of powergaming, one need only be cogent to the Rock-Paper-Scissors tacit assumptions of what will be power within the game, and accomodate. I've a decent notion to that, consisting mostly of adapting tactics as opposed to rote stratagems. To keep things in true form, I'm going to strive upon a personable goblin hero to join such a potential host. I figure this guy'll outride, and be some form of anti-hero. He'll ride a Cockatrice, he'll have the Collar of Zorga to take control of the enemy monsters, and the Sword of Heroes to bop them down beforehand. He'll be Sir Gallavant the Green, fuckin Ace. Shame the prick costs almost 300 points, vanity tax to the game and all that.

Yes, I'm aware it's awful to rattle on about 5th edition Warhammer like it's not been smeared into the obscurity, but I like it that way.
So here is the final unit of Goblins I, with help from counsel create.
The Goblins of Gnar Ridge 16, shortbows, light armour, shields, banner of courage for rerolling break tests. Joined with a champion equipped alike, in addition to the awesome Parrying Blade, which negates an attack to one adjacent.
The unit is then lead by an Armour of Meteoric Iron wearing, Crown of Command bearing dude alike with Shortbow. This unit is a house, I know. Sturdy, sturdy. The Hero also bears a Great Weapon of rules contention, for the AoMI comes with shield. It's a very personable unit, I feel.
Rerolling break tests on LD 5 units seems funny, so the LD 10 unadjusted Leadership of the tincan in the front rank is marvellous. At the present, this build costs, with the personality figures, 251.5 points.
