There is a great festival that takes place in June, in Hamburg. However, this is the source of quite some confusion, as there are 2 cities named Hamburg: * 1 in Saxony * 1 in Thuringia
This results in all manner of lost pilgrims, on some occasions. On some years, the festival is in Hamburg in Saxony, on others, in Hamburg in Thuringia, with the hosting of the next year's festival being decided by games. There is much feasting, drinking, && gaming at these festivals, with many prizes to be won. The festivals are quasi-religious in nature (moreso in Thuringia, which is a theocracy), but the central focus is actually games of all sorts, with events such as jousting and archery being a big draw, as well.
Note that a citizen of Hamburg is known as a Hamburger, and, that there is a little-known (ie. secret) gate between these 2 cities.

Black Forest gâteau (British English) and Black Forest cake (American English) are the English names for the German dessert Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte (pronounced [ˈʃvaʁt͡svɛldɐ ˈkɪʁʃˌtɔʁtə]), literally "Black Forest cherry-torte", where it originated.

Note: in the real-world, the Black Forest is definitely in Germania. (Thanks: kjatoragfoot)

Sure, no problemo. On Aerth, there are two Hamburgs, actually cities that go by the name of Hamburger. One is in Sexony, and, the other is in Thoringia. Sorry to disappoint you, man, but there is no Burger King on Aerth (Yet), though there are two Burgers (Mayors), that rule both of the twin cities of Hamburger. I'd imagine both of them to look like Rob Ford. Sorry for the Hamburger porn, but, Yes, Hamburgers do exist on Aerth. Hamburger, city of Sexony. Hamburger, city of Thoringia. Prespos Ps. Sorry for the Hamburger porn... and, Yes, you are welcome to stop by for a visit, @dragsonspipe!

Kobolds are found in the Harz region of Thuringia, where most of the Thuringian mining takes place.
