#1.7 THE BULETTE (a.k.a. Landshark)June 1976 Although the author is not credited, here, I am pretty sure that it was Tim Kask, first editor of Dragon magazine, and, regular GaryCon attendee. Yesterday, someone sent me a link, and it seems that the Bulette (boo-lay?) was based on a plastic toy, made in China. Can anyone confirm this? Also, as a thank-you to Tim Kask, someone made a custom Bulette miniature for him, and, if anyone has the image, please post (it is quite awesome). As a minor bit of AD&D trivia, the image here graces page #1 of AD&D, the opening page of the Monster Manual. I'd like to write a bit more about this one, by David C. Sutherland III, but, Gentle Readers, here, I endeavour to keep my words at a minimum. Prespos the Hobbit PS. That said, everything is up-to-date. The original idea was to post 1 article per day, but, I had lagged behind, so I had to post 4 articles on a Monday. Sorry about this -- I hope to see you all tomorrow, on Tuesday!
