Any guesses as to the worth of a tapestry?
In the DMG, a tapestry is listed at 5# to 100# (50 to 1000 gp) weight.
So, I would guess that step #1 is to establish a baseline value per pound.
From there, step #2 would be to apply a modifier (multiplier) based on artistic quality.
Finally, step #3 would be to relate pounds to square feet.
Any thoughts?

p27DMG says that tapestries are worth 1-20 gold per square yard. Campbell's Treasure doc has modifiers for art in general on page 6. Carpet weighs about half a pound per square foot, so I figure a tapestry is close to that. I created a random tapestry generator. Link. *edit* For some reason, "My Drive" isn't saving the formatting properly. Eh, you get the idea.
