Cults of Prax is probably my favourite piece of games stuff ever. Not only useful and informative but the way it's explained through the eyes of Biturean Varosh a travelling merchant is brilliant. I'm not a great fan of Issaries Goldentongue but he's an excellent and believable fantasy character. His adventures take him all across the arid deserts of Prax and beyond to Dagori Inkarth and Shadows Dance. I was sad when I had to leave him there. During the Christmas break I'm going to try and write some more and will use this space to practice

Biturian's original journey starts at The Block he travels via Monkey Ruins, Corflu, along the River of Cradles through Pavis then North into the Troll lands of Shadows Dance and the Dagori Inkarth. I'l like to take him further west now towards Dragon Pass and the infamous SnakePipe Hollow.

The next step will see him head down The River to Dragonseye, home of the fabled Dragonnewts.

From there he will journey on to see the Ducks at Duckpoint then across the treacherous Urland Marsh. Reputedly home to the Vampire Necromancer Dilecti.

Awesome, thread, like the Legends of the Old West one! Thanks! Looking at the map, I seem to remember that Pavis / The Big Rubble had it's own book. Two questions: 1) Do you have the Pavis books, and, if so, is it any good? 2) Is there a compleat RUNEQUEST bibliography out there, that lists all titles, in order of release? Prespos

Thanks John Yeah I have both Pavis and Big Rubble both are super resources but both need many hours of fleshing out too. They can be pretty pricy for the originals from the 80's but Avlon Hill made reprints for later editions that are just as good and less hard on the wallet. I believe there is a hard back 800 page Runequest compendium about. Though so far it's not found its way into my collection. Hope this helps?

If Biturian slips through the wicked clawed fingers of Dilecti he will stop at the Beast Temple before heading off along the fringes of Lunar-Tarsh to trade with that dreadful empire and perhaps again clash with the hated Seven Mothers cult.

From there onto Whitewall and north into Sartar proper. Here to meet with the rebels fighting bravely to stave of Lunar invasion. Living in fear of the Crimson Bat.

The next leg of his journey will see him skirt the Troll Woods and maybe even an excursion into the dreaded Chaos Woods before pressing on to Jansholm.

The last leg of his journey, across the Storm Walk Mountain and Orani's Mistake will see him back in familiar territory. In Cults of Prax there are dark rumours of the fate of Alaine a Humakti Sword Lord who it was said had met a terrible fate at Sog's Ruins. Biturian avoids questing there by providing God-Gifts but it hints that that is the way to Hero Questing. I was always a bit disappointed he didn't go there so now I intend to settle that. A fitting end to a long journey!
