I have been involved with a few Roll20 games lately, as a player (5E).
But having familiarized meself with the platform, I am working on a 2E-based game. It is a simple concept: The characters all come from one valley region (please, no jokes about how everyone looks the same at the county dance...) of 6 small towns and hamlets. These hamlets have slowly recovered from a continent-wide total societal collapse (no, it wasn't brought on by an Orange Dragon) , and have almost zero knowledge of what lies beyond the valley.
If you are familiar with ancient PC gaming, the concept is similar to a cross between "Starflight" and OD&D+2e greatness. Exploration parties are sent out to gather what information they can, find the "lost races", discover forgotten magics, weird technologies & heaps of gold, and try not to get brutally killed in the process. (Yes, there is mild sci-fi in this D&D)
This thread is a place to bloviate about the game, and perhaps garner interest.
The campaign is called BEYOND THE VALLEY
