I don't like to talk about this kind of stuff, but it hits me really hard. I am poor, and, I live in a place with physical graffiti and newspaper articles on the walls.
Above my computer, looking at it now, is an article from a Toronto newspaper: "Suicide bombers kill dozens at church services in Egypt".
The thing is, that I chose to bear witness, hear witness, and I listened to and saw the aftermath of that attack, live on Facebook. I've seen a lot, but this one haunts me. I couldn't cope with it, so I went to the store and got a big bottle of cheap St. Remy brandy. The fact is that it's not a good thing: alcohol is not going to bring them back.
It is very hard to cope with these events, sometimes, but someone has to bear witness.
If someone has issues, then, target the government, or the military or the police.
Please, have mercy: do not target kids and civilians.
