(THIS is in appendix A?) lol There is a great article in Dragon #34 about magical fountains ( Getting Into the Flow of Magic Fountains), and, that is what is being used for the Random Megadungeon PbP campaign. With regards to Appendix A, I've extended the tricks to include those from Appendix H and Greyhawk and Dragon magazine. Still, everything that happens is randomly generated. So, to answer your question, no, it's not from Appendix A. The fountain is from Dragon #34. The image is from Google. For this campaign, Castle Greyhawk (WG7) is an influence, and, I try to keep things as Whimsical && Weird as possible. Now, it's time for me to roll the dice for jamerowe1... cya! Please feel free to post images of fountains here; there's a chance that I might use them in the campaign.
