Starting area #1 was randomly generated with a d5.
The dungeon is located in Nanchao.
Slight variant: * Roll twice for room contents, take both rolls * Place a trick in every room (cf. Appendix H, 1eo)

There is a rotting corpse on the stairs Those who search the corpse come into contact with a shifting parasite Shifting parasite (similar to a cerebral parasite, but those infected are shifted to the ethereal plane, where they suffer severe infestation of the cardio-vascular system)

4) The sound of raucous laughter can be heard at any of the three rotten doors that lead into this room. The floor is boarded and creaky taking 20% of any move silently rolls. Against the West wall, the only one without a door in it; has been erected a makeshift bar of several barrels of cheap ale. A number of cheap and battered pewter pots (1SP each) are scattered on a scared piece of hardwood that serves as a counter top. Leaning against this eating bacon sandwiches are three cannibal Orcs (HP 7,4,3). The largest one has a bag marked swag hanging from his belt containing 17GP. A leather sack is tucked among the barrels. It smells really badly and contains a rotten leg of pork. Touching this horrid thing is not advised as it is infested with Rit Grubs!

5) a circular chamber some 30' across. Another door is opposite the one you enter through. The room is 40' high, the floor paved. In the centre a low (3') walled well plummets down to unknown depths. After 2 rounds an eye tyrant will rise from within. This is actually a Gas Spore which will explode if it takes but 1HP damage. The well itself is actually 80' deep. Among the debris collected at the bottom are 121CP of varying age and a rather battered small shield painted red bearing the emblem of a golden lion. This is enchanted and will detect magic, it gives the user +2 on saves v fear.

6) At the furthest reach off your lamternlight you can see a rough opening in the corridor wall to the North. Debris and rubble spill out into the pathway. If the characters approach and investigate any ligh or substantial noise will cause the colony of shriekers growing within to wail in alarm.
