Did anyone play this back in the day?
Found a copy online today, started pissing around with the built-in adventure "Heirs to Skull Crag"
For those who might not have tried it, I totally recommend checking it out. It enables you to construct your own games to run people (or yourself I guess) through. For such an old product, the adventure builder is pretty diverse and complete, capable of doing both dungeon/outdoor constructions, or a mix of both, and can contain a fair degree of plot-driven stuff (once you're familiar with how to work it all) and not just hack-and-slash.
Looks very much like the old SSI games like Pool of Radiance, the Krynn trilogy, etc. Uses 2E rules.

Uses 1e rules, actually. All the goldboxes are 1e. Anyway, I messed around with it quite a bit back in the day, unfortunately I don't have any of my old adventures left. Been planning on getting back to it from time to time. Maybe I shall If someone actually finishes creating a FRUA module, we should share it here so other tools can try it out.

Yeah, Dungeon Hack is 2e (or at least the box has the 2e logo).
To my shame I can't remember if Eye of the Beholder III was still 1e (very likely was, cause 1 and 2 are), but DH was one of the first to use 2e rules. Others were, of course, the games tied to 2e era settings. Dark Sun, Spelljammer, Ravenloft etc. Can't say which one of them was the first to use 2e rules, but it might have been Spelljammer... I know it came out in 92 and a lot (if not all) the others I mentioned are 93 releases.

Big fan of Unlimited Adventures. I was late to the party, and only started following the online community after it had mostly died, but I downloaded and played through hundreds of modules, including modules hacked for Oriental Adventures and Planescape and even Call of Cthulhu.
