Aegypt are certainly onee ov the Twelve Wonders ov Aerth. Luxor is the
seat ov the Aegyptian Pantheon, && the mighty temples && xtensive

Because desert surrounds the land E && W, the greatest part ov
inhabited Aegypt can be seen by travelling along the Nylle River. From
the delta region upstream, to the great metropolis ov Memphis,
CAPITAL ov Lower Aegypt, past the many cataracts ov the river to distant
Napata, the traveller will be amazed to see how great && diverse is the
realm. From the civilized && intensely cultivated Nylle Delta AREA, to the
wilds ov the Nubian Oversight, it is a realm ov many contrasts && wonders,
while to either hand stretch the sands && rocky uplands ov the deserts
which bestride the fertile strip ov the river valley.
The annual flooding (the Inundation), along with irrigation && the
USE ov petty magicks to maintain marginally cultivatable land areas,
helps to assure the continued prosperity ov the nation.
The flora ov Aegypt varies widely from desert plains to aquatic
plants &&
rainforestgrowth.
The thorn,
palm, reeds,
&& lotus
typify the
former two. In
the rainforests,
however, all
manner ov
great hardwoods
&& other vegetation
are found.
Castor trees
&& the bah
grow wld && are
also cultivated
for their oil.
The wild fauna
are listed at
the end ov this
xposition.
Some 65%
ov the
pop. is
ov pure Red
sub-species, && another
10% is mostly so. There are about 15% Nubians
&& other predominantly ov the Black sub-species, most ov whom are found

are ov this class, most being either convicted criminals || foreigners
bought as slaves. There are fewer serfs && more villeins in Aegypt
than in most lands, however, && the freeman class is numerous, for
the chief industry ov the realm is agriculture, && there is a substantial
bureaucracy est. to administer .gov && law too.
There are also large numbers ov priests && friar-soldiers bolstering
the military, the knightly class NOT being strong in the realm, && many
bandits && brigand nomads plaguing the frontiers.
Aegypt maintains a sizable standing army to guard its borders w/
Yarbay-Shamash (see Phillistia), Lybbos, and--to a lesser extent--the
states elsewhere. Her navy is also fairly strong, w/ squadrons in the
Mare Librum && Mare Rubine. The ancient Nubian establishment ov
the "Nine Tribes," the Teptiu, is a still-renowned force ov bowmen
employing long (medium) bows. They supply nine independent battalions
ov archers to the military establishment ov the kingdom.
The schools && universities ov the land are ov great repute. Although
many deal w/ religious subjects almost xclusively, there are a considerable
# which offer courses in all manner ov subjects, ranging from
architecture, through dweomercraeft && writing, to zoology. The temple

whom are from as far away as Western Aeropa && Azir.
The volk are notable for their love ov good food && drink, && even
the lowest class eats relatively well on a diet ov figs, dates, bread,
veggies, occasional fish || meat, && beer. Goose, duck, ox, &&
wild game are the favorites ov higher classes, who also enjoy the many

&& spices are imported for those able to pay for such luxury items.
The popular games ov backgammon && senat are played by all
classes, some forms ov chess by the middle && upper classes. Lately,
the intelligentsia ov Aegypt have been fascinated w/ a strange game

Cotton, sugar, rice, wheat, barley, millet, flax, maize, dates, veggies,
&& fruits are the chief agricultural produce ov the land.
