SEARCH FOR THE GNOME CACHE (Chapters 3 & 4)

First, a small preface. I'm attempting to do a retrospective of *one* Dragon article per day, but sometimes, I do fall behind, and I have to post 2-4 articles in series in order to catch up. Sorry about this!
Anyway, this is a continuance of a story in Greyhawk, and, here are the questions:
Where in 'modern' GH (early GH was rather different) would you place "The Gnome Cache"?
As well... note the reference to "Endstad" in the story -- does this, in some way, correspond to Enstad, capital of Celene?
