Cloud giants live in cloud castles in the clouds, and, hence, are not tied to any particular geographic region / realm of Aerth. However, in the year 1017, it is a fact that cloud giant castles have been sailing the skies above the land of Aetheope.

Hobgoblin tribes are found in Aetheope. Their society is militaristic, and they are rather advanced in the ways of war. Originally of Phaeree origin, certain tribes are known to have migrated, via gate, to other realms, such as Liang, where they are said to hold great power.
