What do you use to make these maps? I haven't made a single one. The original Aerth maps were done by Rob Lazzaretti, a former TSR artist/cartographer who worked on PLANESCAPE. If cartographer is an (A)D&D class (I seem to remember it being in SAGES & SPECIALISTS), I am pretty sure that he has at least a few levels, there! Also, he has mapped out the Planes of Existence, in the wonderful PLANESCAPE setting. Myself, if I was to do maps of Aerth, they would be computer-generated maps, generated via Appendix B of the DMG, with the final result looking something like ULTIMA IV. I really hope that happens, one day, and, it's possible: it's just a matter of having the will, and, starting small. In the individual threads, there are a few city maps or paintings of cityscapes, which are quite interesting. A overlaid grid, via a Photoshop (etc.) layer might be a good idea for making these maps useful for game play. Matter of fact, the same idea should probably be applied to the original maps of Aerth, one day. Prespos Ps. What should be done is a cut-out of a map for each realm of Aerth, which portrays the adjoining realms. Below this, there should be a hyperlinked list of the adjoining realms. The idea is to one day have a fully functioning and explorable setting!

Any chance you could repost the Epic of Aerth maps? The DropBox links are broken.
